Bay or bow windows are popular options to give the illusion of a larger room with greater access to outdoors. Bay or bow windows can act as great spaces to relax while taking in the outdoor scenery. These window styles are easy to customize with fixed panels for more light, or operating windows to modify airflow through your home by combining fixed and operating casement or single hung panels.
BAY WINDOWS
Bay windows are made of three or more windows. The side or flanker units project out from the building in 30, 45, or 90 degree angles. The center is parallel with the building wall and is made up of one or more windows. These windows types can be installed with head and seat boards. You may be able to upgrade an existing window opening to be a bay window.
BOW WINDOWS
Bow windows feature 4 or more panels connected at equal angles to form a smooth curve. These types of windows can be installed with head and seat boards. Bow windows typically have fixed center windows with operating casements on the ends. You may be able to upgrade an existing window opening to a bow.
Like all our other windows, we offer a wide variety of sizes, colours, interior and exterior options to customize these elegant windows to best fit the look and feel of your home. These window are also available in double or triple glaze, to meet Energy Star® qualifications.
