The Energy Star® program is an international standard program that helps consumers save energy and money by helping them choose the most energy efficient products. Integral Windows Systems has achieved Energy Star® compliance on all our products. Different configurations to achieve different levels are available.
Canada once was divided into zones with different energy star rating requirements reflecting different severities of weather conditions. This has since been changed and all of Canada now follows the same energy rating requirements. In order to meet the tightly regulated specifications of the Energy Star® program, all residential windows, doors, and skylights need to meet one of the two following criteria:

This specification is issued by Natural Resources Canada (NRCan). NRCan has been authorized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to promote and administer the ENERGY STAR® name and symbol in Canada. To qualify for this certification, a third-party organization accredited by the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) or National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) must test the product.
These ENERGY STAR®-certified residential products sold in Canada must meet specific U-value, Energy Rating and air-tight efficiency specifications for Version 5.0 dated January 1, 2020.
